SnapSports Sports Flooring Has Recently Been Installed At The Apple Computer Cupertino, CA Headquarters Complex

SnapSports Sports Flooring has been chosen by the Santa Clara County based Apple Computer athletic committee for the employee’s recreational and league play.

January 28, 2009 – The new SnapSports basketball court located at Apple Computer in San Jose, California’s backyard, in the heart of Silicon Valley, combines an attractive 6-hoop court layout with our multi-patent pending BounceBack sports surface dark blue and beige in the lanes and border areas.  This aesthetically pleasing combination is contrasted nicely with evergreen in the remaining center court section.

The suspended free floating modular sports flooring, offers elastic give, providing energy absorbing cushion to “hoopsters with hops”.  The floor also offers lateral energy absorbing benefits on the athletic start, stop, and pivot point action, reducing stress on knees, ankles, and lower back.

The SnapSports floor has met certifiable standards for basketball bounce and rolling load.  Players of all abilities will enjoy comforting “sneaker squeak” found in the best of performers.

The six, professionally engineered, high integrity, height adjustable hoop systems were each modified and installed by crews employed by PlayGrounds Unlimited of Sunnyvale, CA, to mate with an underground, existing steel structure, supplying support to the parking garage underneath the 100’ x 60’ basketball arena.

Discussions are currently underway to design and install a synthetic turf volleyball court and play area, directly adjacent to the now existing basketball court.  Combining the basketball and volleyball synthetic turf area by Ameriturf of Northern California, Apple’s employees will enjoy a complete, professional, outdoor, stress-reducing workout area.
